內容簡介The Freiberg Refractories Forum 2013 was organized on 27 November in Freiberg/DE by the Institute of Ceramics, Glass and Construction Materials (IKGB) at Freiberg University of Mining and Technology in cooperation with the DGM (German Association of Materials Science), the DKG (German Ceramic Society), the DFG (German Research Foundation), FIRE – Feuerfest -Initiative zur Reduzierung von Emissionen (Refractories Initiative for the Reduction of Emissions -SPP 1418 of the DFG), the CRC 920 (Multi-Functional Filters for Metal Melt Filtration), and MORE (Meeting of Refractory Experts Freiberg Regd.). The 10@ anniversary of scientific dialogue on refractories with Wuhan University/CN (Fig. 1) was celebrated with attendance of a delegation of scientists and industry leaders from China, who contributed three presentations to the technical programme of the forum. Marking this jubilee, Karin Scharrer, Editor-in-Chief of refractories WORLDFORUM, handed over EUR 2000 on behalf of the publishing house Goller Verlag/DE. The aim of this "seeding money" is to support the set-up of further overseas cooperative scientific projects with the IKGB for the refractories community.
