內容簡介Exhibitor numbers up 10 %, exhibition surface up 20 % and a visitor plus of 23 %: for ALUMINIUM 2012, the world's largest trade fair of the aluminium industry which was held in Dusseldorf for the first time (9-11 October 2012) after its move from the Ruhr to the Rhine, it was the perfect premiere. The trade fair ALUMINIUM was held since 1997 at the Essen Exhibition Centre which unfortunately did not have the necessary capacities of top-quality exhibition space. The move from Essen where occupying 65 000 m2 atthe last event in 2010, had become necessary to meet the current need for exhibition space of 78 000 m2 961 exhibitors from 51 countries (previous event in 2010: 872 from 47 countries) and 21 300 visitors (17 200 in 2010) emphasised its position as one of the most successful industrial fairs. COMPOSITES EUROPE 2012 ?7th European Trade Fair and Forum for Composites and parallel exhibition to ALUMINIUM 2012 - comprised 426 exhibitors who displayed the trends of composites from the latest-generation of glass-reinforced materials to carbon applications in vehicle and aircraft construction to its 8040 visitors. ALUMINIUM together with COMPOSITES EUROPE was the most important lightweight construction summit of the year 2012.
