內容簡介Triggered by growing energy and raw material prices, a high dependency on certain critical raw materials only available from a few countries, as well as rising demand for resources globally, resource efficiency is gaining increasing importance. In the past couple of years, the European Union has been focusing on this issue and has come up with a variety of policy approaches and initiatives that deal with sustainable ways to use resources and render economic growth more resource efficient. Industry plays a crucial role in this context, and RHI contributes to resource efficiency by, inter alia, applying sustainable and innovative sourcing methods, reducing the specific energy consumption for magnesia sintering, and continuous process improvements.
