內容簡介With intent to analyze numerically the corrosion rate variations of a blast furnace main trough, a mass transfer model was applied hypothesizing that the corrosion rate increases with an increase in slag flow speed. Based on Fick 憇 law, the model took account of factors such as solubility of refractories into slag, slag flow speed, diffusion coefficient of refractories to slag and slag viscosity. Applying the model to corrosion rate analysis of commercially operated blast furnace troughs, the overall diffusion coefficients were obtained as 3.03 x 10-10m2晄-1 for the slag line and 1.15x10-9m2晄-1 for the metal line. These values were in agreement with laboratory-measured values reported in literatures within an order of magnitude. Moreover, it was clarified that the difference in the corrosion rate between the impact zone (upstream part) and the downstream part of the main trough was explained quantitatively by slag flow speed variation. In addition, the influences of temperature and the saturation fraction of refractories to slag on the corrosion rate were assessed with the aid of the model.
