內容簡介The slide gate valve apparatus (hereafter called SV apparatus) controls the molten steel flow by sliding a slide plate under face pressure. In the conventional SV apparatus, the face pressure was applied by human power with use of the lever principle. However, in recent years, with an aim to improve the working conditions at the time of brick replacement, an apparatus to control the face pressure automatically using the force of an actuating hydraulic cylinder has come into use as a main facility. In our company, the automatic face pressure loading apparatus has been put into practical use as well, and a new SV apparatus with fewer parts and labor saving simplicity has been developed. This is to report this new apparatus designated as the SST type.
