內容簡介The durability of SN plates depends largely on the steel grades and operation conditions. For stable use and longer life, it is necessary to develop new refractories suitable for the conditions encountered. For example, in the cases of Ca treated steel and high oxygen steel, the refractory life is low due to the severe corrosion of the refractories. In order to resolve this problem, the relation between ZrO_2 content in SN plates and corrosion resistance was investigated and a new refractory with enriched of ZrO_2 content was developed with good results for Ca treated steel. The present paper introduces the development of these refractories.
