內容簡介Behavior and effects of Al_4SiC_4 added to MgO-C bricks were examined. Al_4SiC_4 reacted with CO gas above 1200 deg C. This reaction caused densification and gradual strength increase of the bricks. The bricks containing Al_4SiC_4 had good oxidation resistance as same as aluminum containing bricks and had high slaking resistance after heating.
