內容簡介A singular heat transfer phenomenon generated during drying period of monolithic refractories containing liquid matter was given a summary account. This phenomenon may be explained quantitatively by a complicating heat transfer fraught with evaporation-condensation of liquid phase component, through such multiple processes as first liquid phase evaporates by heating to form a vapor phase possessing an evaporation latent heat, next the vapor phase moves to cold side by diffusion, and last where the latent heat of evaporation is emitted due to condensation phenomenon. However any textbook of heat transfer engineering doesn't describe this phenomenon on a basis of definite idea and also on the analysis of the drying process for refractories there is no literature to analyze this phenomenon in a rigorous manner excepting an example making a small amount of comment of this subject. The authors are looking forward to hearing the detail researches on the subjects in the very near future.
