內容簡介The author has described many kinds of materials containing zirconium compounds in addition to the well-known zirconium oxide and zircon and their use for various kinds of applications. Zirconium compounds are widely used throughout whole industries, from the steelmaking and glass industries that only utilize the characteristics of thermal resistance and corrosion resistance to interesting applications in various fields such as atomic power, aerospace, semi-conductors and products for daily living. It is hoped that the paper will help serve as a reference for the readers to understand zirconium compounds. With regard to some anticipated problems, the zirconium resources in the world are limited and there is a danger of running out in a matter of decades. The recycle technologies for both raw materials and products will become important relative to other scarce sources.
