內容簡介Chrome-free bricks are becoming established for use in the burning zone lining of rotary cement kilns. One of the essential, and most important properties that burning zone refractories should possess, is the capability to develop and retain an adherent coating layer on the working face. But the characteristics of coating adherence on chrome-free bricks has not yet been adequately elucidated. This paper describes the evaluation of the reactions of chrome-free bricks with cement components, under various conditions, with attention being given to each component in the bricks.
