內容簡介It has been determined that the behavior of the structural refractories in the crown span of a large-size glass furnace during heatup can be reproduced sufficiently by using the numerical analysis method, in which the joint pattern is modeled by applying the virtual spring mechanism. The authors intend to actively utilize this procedure for questions about, and the design of, glass furnaces with a large crown span.
