內容簡介As pig iron mixer is one of the most important aggregates in the converter steel workshop, its consumable parts (refractories) have direct impact on the economics of converter steel production. In this work the analysis of interactions between hot mixer slag and magnesia containing refractories using experimental design were studied. Magnesia "M", magnesia aluminate spinel "M-MA" and magnesite chrome "M-MK" refractory types were investigated. Molten slag parameters in terms of temperature (1450-1550 deg C), basicity "CaO/SiO_2 or C/S" (C/S = 0.5-2), time (60-180 min) and slag quantity (0.5-1.5 kg) were considered. Weight loss (dissolution rate) was used as a criterion for interaction of these refractories with slag. This method is considered as quantitative technique and it can be used in future as standard technique for evaluation of slag/refractory interaction. Temperature, basicity and interaction time of the molten slag were found to be effective parameters on the dissolution process of the investigated refractories. Magnesite chrome refractory in the frame of the boundary condition of this study was nominated as the best type for mixer lining compared with the other types i.e. magnesia and magnesia aluminate spinel. The explanation of these interactions was understood in the view of the published data as described in the text and microstructure.
