內容簡介Based on technical input and practical experience, this paper discusses the optimization of equipment for efficient removal of the deteriorated surface layer of the refractory lining in various containers for making iron and steel; these developments offer the following merits:Saving Materials: Minimal crushing by tungsten carbide bits limits the damage to the underlying good refractory material, while removing an arbitrary thickness of the outer layer of deteriorated refractory, which allows the removal of good material to be reduced and the consumption rate to be improved. Time Savings: Compact equipment, with good mobility, designed with a combination of rotation and impact functions, can efficiently remove the deteriorated layer with limiting shaking, noise, and dust. Reduction of Skill: Regarding the crushing mechanism, which is not restricted by the degrees of freedom and the reach (extension) of the boom, the positioning and movement (operation) of the tools is relatively easy, with highly precise chipping capability, without the need for skilled workers.
