內容簡介The author got the honor of introducing the lecture titled "Technological Changes and Future Needs of Steel Making Refractories in Japan" as a part of commemoration ceremony of the 60th anniversary of the TARJ. The lecture covered technological improvements in refractories during my many years as a steel-making and refractories engineer, I was then given a commission to post an article based on the above lecture in Taikabutsu. Therefore I would like to present this paper to consider the important technological changes since 1975 and the problems in the future development of steel-making refractories from the viewpoint of a refractories consumer.
