內(nèi)容簡介This work aims to prepare and study the properties of some clay - bonded SiC refractories. Silicon carbide, chamotte and clay compacts, with SiC contents ranging between 20 and 60wt% have been prepared and fired up to 1500°C. The physical, mechanical and refractory properties of the fired compacts were evaluated. The changes in their phase composition were also followed. The high density, high refractoriness under load and good corrosion resistance of the refractory types containing 20 and 40 wt% SiC containing refractories lead to use them in lining of upper and middle stack zones of the blast furnace.
