內容簡介Ferro-silicon nitride manufactured by nitrifying ferrosilicon contains metallic iron and unreacted ferrosilicon, and is already used in taphole mixes. Some reports have stated that the resistance of Al_2O_3-SiC system taphole mix against blast furnace slag (hereafter called BF slag) improves with increasing amount of nitride addition". It has also been reported that ferro-silicon nitride reduces the permeation of BF slag and that ferro-silicon nitride reduces the wear rate of high SiC castable at the side wall of a tilting runner where molten iron was de-siliconized, thereby prolonging service life. This paper presents the results of research on the influence of ferro-silicon nitride on the physical properties and the erosion resistance of Al_2O_3-spinel-SiC-C system castable applied to the metal line of the main trough of a blast furnace.
