內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介Creep tests by bending are generally preferable to those by compression because higher stress can be more easily applied on the specimen. A creep constitutive equation, however, is not easily obtained from the bending creep data. Therefore, there has been an issue that the results of bending creep tests have not been available as the premise for FEM analysis. A method of reverse analysis to formulate the creep equation from data obtained by the bending creep test for alumina-graphite materials was investigated. An elastic finite element model is employed to estimate stress and strain from load and displacement. Then creep coefficients in the constitutive equation are preliminary determined. Afterward, the coefficients were corrected by analyses using an elasto-creep finite element model. The formulated creep constitutive equation could be applied to obtain the results of analysis in which the agreement with the experimental results was satisfactory. Thus, effectiveness of the analytical procedures was confirmed.
