內(nèi)容簡(jiǎn)介Within the world market for refractories, the glass industry is very much 'a small fish in a big pond' - with an annual demand of only ~ 1 million tonnes. By value, the main components of this demand are the fusion-cast materials - which are the backbone of glass furnace construction (- see Fig.l.) Some of these different refractories create both serious limitations, and some potential major opportunities, for both the glassmaker and the refractory supplier - as outlined below.
